Here is a more detailed post than usual that discusses how to view life as a human adventure—vibrant and unpredictable.

And how to practically go about seeing life as an adventure, without hurting others or breaking the rules.

The internal framework and the external framework

I sincerely believe that we can step outside the usual script of our routine while still respecting others and the environment around us.

But we often confuse these two things:

In fact, the positive aspect is that we can maintain respect for others and group harmony while daring to try new things.

Here are several examples:

But there’s one major problem with all this: fear!

Fear paralyzes us and prevents us from taking action

I think the fear we feel holds us back in many areas of our lives, delays projects we want to launch, or paralyzes us.

For example, I’d wanted to go to Japan for years, but I was afraid of not following social norms, speaking Japanese poorly, or getting the logistics wrong.

In the end, once I got there, I used the wrong words, I stuttered, and I didn’t follow all the social norms to the letter.
